Christmas Eve

Tomorrow is Christmas;
I'm oh so excited, as is my little brother, he wears his santa hat non-stop;
Mum and me had to make a last minute run to red rooster to pick up the chickens;
When we got there it was closed, but mum used her negotiation skills to get them to let us pick up our order;
I hope Santa comes tonight ^_^

oh calamity

exams are nearly here
and while i'm freaked out im not sure it is having quite the desired effect
either is the threat of not going to uni
i'm sure it will catch up to me by tuesday morning

there's no going back now

you know when you do something bad;
but you get so into it your like, well i might as well just go the whole way now?
cutting your hair is like that i've decided;
i cut off the majority of my hair; which is a pretty massive deal for me
but now that my hair is short; i feel like i just want it to be shorter;
i feel as though now i've cut it, i might as well cut all of it?

ive also decided that cutting my own hair is a bad idea;
as i am not fully trained and the end result is somewhat hideous
apparently today i looked quite indie

the end is near people

ah predicted ib scores
how wonderful; surprisingly better than i thought and oh so wonderful
if only i could forget about maths

ah well; its nearly finished
i miss the reliability and i cant wait forever

exam block stress?

i keep having the wierdest dreams;
they are so abstract and unbelievable, yet they feel so real and sometimes i wake up crying.
i think its just my overactive imagination again;
it tends to make me do things like this, that or the fact my subconscious is trying to tell me something.

who knows.

melanie sent me a strangely intuitive text today; it scares me sometimes how perceptive she can be.
maybe she's a secret agent, sent from another planet to scare people into compliance.

anyone who walks behind hungry jacks; is just wierd

Having a license sucks

Friend 1: 'oh man i have gumnuts in my bra'
Me: 'melanie why the hell do you have gumnuts in your bra?'
Friend 1: 'aidan'
Me: 'aidan?'
Friend 1: 'he's immature and threw them into my shirt'

This was the conversation I shared with my darling friend 1 aka melanie earlier this evening, and it got me thinking. Why are boys so obsessed with breasts?

I dont really see what the fascination is, but i suppose whatever tickles your fancy right?

On a yummier note, mum has bought the ice tea making stuff; which is oh so good and refreshing. I have been making glass after glass of the stuff. I cant wait for summer to come where i can drink it by the gallon because it is so hot. I think this summer i shall make ice tea icypoles.
Also exam block starts on Monday; in an ideal world i would spend this entire weekend studying. But alas the world is not ideal, so i'm going out to Ipswich for the day tomorrow to drive my brother to basketball and then I'm going to west end at 6 on sunday to take him to rowing.

I should be doing CAS journals

Dear Blog,

please dont hate me.
i know i've been horrible and neglectful, but you must understand, a lot has been happening.
granted not all good, but mostly brilliant and i should have told you.
so i'm apologising, it seems i'm doing quite a bit of that lately.
i'm sorry, please forgive me?
your disgraced author,

Natalie.

I had my first day of Catchup Club (yes i am aware that is not the real name). It was somewhat comforting, to know that there are others out there that are also failing maths. It was also rather amazing that I actually did maths whilst i was there ^^. I am oh so proud.

to dream anything that you want to dream. that is the beauty of the human mind

i dissapeared today. dissapeared into the forest and forgot for awhile the impending doom that is E.E, IOC, WL and TOK.

so the photos have uploaded ^_^

blog=procrastination

So, it has been a while since my last blog* and, quite a bit has happened. The most life changing for me have been:

1)QASMT Cross Country Carnival
2)My cousin Oscar's 2nd Birthday
3)Andy's 18th**
4)Somebody putting my ipod through the washing machine
5)The possum the boys, jemima and I found

Not as life changing but also vastly significant events have been:

1)Babysitting Oscar and getting to stay at Royal Pines Resort as a result
2)The large family working bee in which my father cut down quite a few of the palm trees
3)My mother buying me a brand new fluffy bathrobe

*17Days to be exact
**Not saying the other birthdays Ryan, Geoffrey and Musu were any less significant

hmmm the photos have apparently decided to not upload. So use your imagination to imagine all these wonderful things ^_^

yay.yay.yay

So, exams are over and I'm now feeling exhausted, emotionally, physically and mentally.
For this reason I have decided to stay home from school today. Also the fact that it is raining non-stop and I do not feel like learning under those conditions. I would much rather snuggle up under my doona or dance out on the balcony. My mum would not condone either of those activities, so as a compromise I have half cleaned my room and done some study, so it is sort of like I went to school anyway and she can feel she is doing her job as a responsible parent.

I think I want to start a hat collection, I think i currently have six or seven. Is that enough to start a collection?
Oh btw guys, dont eat meat...YOUR KILLING THE PLANET! deadly serious. Mel, Ryan and I ran into some lovely foreign people informing us of our evil ways (mel and me that is, Ryan is a good vegetarian boy), and I'm not a carnivorous monster but i do like my meat, but...they did put the facts out there, and their alternative living flier was very thought provoking.

See what I mean?

exam crammage

So exam block starts tomorrow, it is 11.06pm and I should probably either

oror

but what i should not be doing is sitting here eating chocolate, looking at youtube videos, or blogging for that matter.

my mummy purchased for me some smart energy drink. is it meant to make you smarter? because i dont feel smarter. i think i should listen to mozart, because then i will be able to ace all spatial-temporal reasoning tasks. this is what rachel and i found in our psychology experiement.

BROKEN

1. Forcibly separated into two or more pieces; fractured: a broken arm; broken glass.
2. Sundered by divorce, separation, or desertion of a parent or parents: children from broken homes; a broken marriage.
3. Having been violated: a broken promise.
4. a. Incomplete: a broken set of books.
b. Being in a state of disarray; disordered: troops fleeing in broken ranks.
5. Subdued totally; humbled: a broken spirit.
6. Weakened and infirm: broken health.
7. Crushed by grief: died of a broken heart.
8. Not functioning; out of order: a broken washing machine.

everything is broken; so broken even I don't know if we can fix it.

the girl in the green scarf

I am currently tired. Why you may ask? Well, because i have done an awful lot of driving this evening.

First, I had to drive Liz (with mum with be ofcourse because i dont have my p's yet) to sovereign island (which for those who dont know is on the gold coast on the water and has lots of massive houses). Her friend is moving to the US of A and so is having a going away 'gathering'.

Then, I attempted to drive mum and myself to harbour town which should have taken like 10 minutes, it took 25. Why you may ask once again? Well, because somehow i got lost and ended up at Southport.

So when we made it to harbour town we had dinner at fasta pasta and then we went and saw Confessions of a shopoholic. It was rather enjoyable, and i will admit I shed a minimal amount of tears.

After the completion of the aforementioned movie i once again (with my mother) drove to the big house on the water to pick up the sister (at which point it was 11pm) and then proceeded to return home (which we did at approx 12.03)

To maintain my full concentration whilst going 110-120km/h at this hour of the night, i had some mad beats blasting. Namely Micheal Jackson, the temptations and other musicians you never thought you would hear me say.

And that, is why i'm tired.
to tired to put photos up.

p.s
the broncos won against storm
jacqui and i were thoroughly pleased.
the storm boy sitting next to me fell off his seat, literally
and i saw the guy of my dreams, but i woke up and he is gone

Lack of sleep.Broncos.Crazy men on the street and ripsticks

So on Friday the extended essay refined draft was due, of course being the model student my draft was fully underway and so I didnt have to do anyof it thursday night, allowing me to have my required 8 hours of blissful sleep, readying me for an amazing weekend.*

Friday was;
The broncos first game;
Jacqui and I caught the bus in;
Sat in row two behind the goal posts;
Cheered the loudest;
And got kissed by strangers

On Saturday;

I had a driving lesson at 6am;

Avoided hitting a drunk/high man on Queens rd carrying a petrol can;

Gave my little brother a happy birthday kiss;

Had work at 1;

Supplied the candles for my brothers cake;

And watched wild child

Sunday I;

Went to church;

Completed my maths homework and started the next chapter;

Decided what to wear to the 'heroes and villains' dance;

Dominated on my brothers new rip stick;

And played dress ups with myself**

*This statement is false as I hadnt completed my draft and I didnt get my recomended 8 hours sleep...infact i didnt even get 6 of them.

**I attempted to paint my face like a dog/cat...im not really sure which

sleepovers.chempracs.refridgerators

Mel;

slept over last night :)
we had handstand competitions on the tennis court;
ate chips and icecream sandwiches;
tried to find the boys and jemima hiding in the dark;
scared a poor teenage boy;
and we found our new favourite song;
it was fun

Jacqui;
came over today:)
she joined Mel and I in attempting to complete our chemistry pracs;
we sprawled over the couch in conditions highly conducive to learning;
we also attempted and failed multiple times to answer question 2a;
i hope it dies

We got;
a new fridge :)
its big and shiny and it came in a really big box;
my brothers and i made a cubby house out of it;
and then they turned it into a ramp;
i took photos

Rescue Missions and advancements in technology

yesterday was exciting;

mum found a python in our lounge room whilst moving the couch;
and dad rescued it and her;
he got bitten but i dont blame the poor snake

thats the third snake in the house;
it makes for quite good entertainment

this weekend we have a visitor;
her name is jermima and she reminds me of an old best friend;
people were going to get rid of her but we have temporarily rescued her;

i like her very much and so do my brothers

today marks;
the beginning of my step into 21st century diary writing;
i think i'll still keep my journals though;
its calming to read and write in them still
